Cancellation Policy

Effective Date: June 2026  ·  Restaurant Hotline Plus
The short version: Cancel any time. No cancellation fees. No penalties. When you cancel, you keep full access to RH+ through the end of your current paid period. We do not offer refunds for the current billing period on monthly subscriptions. Annual subscriptions have specific terms described below. Your data remains available for 30 days after your subscription ends.

1. Monthly Subscriptions

1.1 How to Cancel

Monthly subscribers may cancel at any time by logging into RestaurantHotlinePlus.com and managing their subscription through the Stripe customer portal, or by contacting RH+ directly through the website. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

1.2 Access After Cancellation

When you cancel a monthly subscription, your account remains fully active and functional through the last day of your current paid billing period. You will not be charged again after cancellation is confirmed. No partial-month access is provided beyond the paid period.

1.3 Refund Policy — Monthly

Monthly subscription fees are non-refundable. When you subscribe, you are purchasing access for the full billing period. If you cancel mid-period, you retain access through the end of that period at no additional charge. No credit or refund is issued for the unused portion of a monthly subscription.

Example — Monthly Cancellation You subscribe on March 1 and are billed $49. On March 18, you decide to cancel. Your cancellation is confirmed immediately. You continue to have full access to RH+ through March 31. On April 1, your account moves to an inactive state. You are not charged for April. No refund is issued for March 18–31.

2. Annual Subscriptions

2.1 Annual Billing

Annual subscriptions are billed in full at the beginning of each annual period. The annual rate reflects a discount on the equivalent monthly rate as published at the time of subscription.

2.2 How to Cancel an Annual Subscription

Annual subscribers may cancel at any time through the Stripe customer portal at RestaurantHotlinePlus.com or by contacting RH+ directly. Cancellation stops automatic renewal at the end of the annual period.

2.3 Access After Annual Cancellation

When you cancel an annual subscription, your account remains fully active and functional through the last day of the paid annual period. The full annual period is honored regardless of when cancellation is submitted during the year.

2.4 Refund Policy — Annual

Annual subscriptions are non-refundable after the first thirty (30) days from the original subscription date.

Cancellation Timing Refund Treatment
Within first 30 days of initial subscription A prorated refund will be issued for the unused portion of the annual period, less any applicable processing fees. Refunds are returned to the original payment method within 10 business days.
After first 30 days No refund is issued. Access continues through the end of the paid annual period. The account will not renew unless the subscriber chooses to resubscribe.
At renewal (auto-renewal cancellation) Cancel before your renewal date to avoid being charged for the next annual period. Renewal date is visible in your account settings. Cancellation requests received after the renewal charge has processed are not refundable.
Example — Annual Cancellation After 30 Days You subscribe annually on January 1 for $470. On August 15, you decide to cancel. Your cancellation is confirmed. You continue to have full access to RH+ through December 31. Your account does not renew on January 1. No refund is issued for the August–December period. Your data remains accessible for 30 days after December 31.
Example — Annual Cancellation Within 30 Days You subscribe annually on January 1 for $470. On January 22, you decide RH+ is not the right fit. You contact RH+ and request cancellation. A prorated refund is calculated for the remaining 343 days of the annual period (approximately $440) and returned to your original payment method within 10 business days. Your account is deactivated upon cancellation confirmation.

3. Free Trial Cancellation

Free trials may be cancelled at any time before the trial period ends with no charge. No cancellation fee. No obligation to continue. If you do not actively subscribe at the end of the trial period, your trial access simply ends and your account moves to an inactive state.

Trial data is retained for thirty (30) days after trial expiration. If you choose to subscribe within that window, your trial data is available in your account. After thirty days, trial data is permanently deleted.

4. Plan Changes and Upgrades

4.1 Upgrading

You may upgrade your subscription plan at any time. When upgrading a monthly subscription, the new plan takes effect immediately and the prorated difference is charged to your payment method for the remainder of the current billing period. When upgrading an annual subscription, contact RH+ directly to discuss transition options.

4.2 Downgrading

You may request a plan downgrade at any time. Downgrades take effect at the next billing period. If your current usage (locations, team members) exceeds the limits of the lower plan, you will be notified and asked to adjust your configuration before the downgrade takes effect. Data is not deleted automatically during a downgrade.

5. Your Data After Cancellation

Your restaurant data — weekly entries, historical trends, performance scores, reports, and settings — remains accessible in your account for thirty (30) calendar days following the end of your subscription.

During this thirty-day window, you can log in, review, and export your data. After thirty days, all data associated with your account is permanently deleted from RH+ systems and cannot be recovered.

The Company is not responsible for data loss resulting from failure to export data before the retention period expires.

Before You Cancel — Export Your History Log into RH+ and go to Historical Trends. Your complete performance history is displayed there. Take screenshots or document any data you want to keep before your access window closes. Future export functionality (PDF and CSV) is on the product roadmap.

6. Exceptional Circumstances

The Company recognizes that extraordinary circumstances sometimes arise. In cases of verified extended service outages, significant platform failures attributable to the Company, or other exceptional circumstances determined at the Company's sole discretion, service credits or alternative remedies may be offered in accordance with the Terms of Service.

Requests for exceptional consideration should be submitted through RestaurantHotlinePlus.com within thirty (30) days of the event giving rise to the request. The Company's decision in such matters is final.
